2024 Newmar Bay Star Sport RV Tour with Angie Morell

The Newmar Bay Star Sport 2720, 2813, 2920, 3014 and 3225 floor plans have been retained for the 2024 model year. However, the 3315 and 3316 models are no longer available.

There is one new floor plan for the 2024 model year:

Bay Star Sport 2912

  • The new 2912 floor plan provides a full wall slide on the off-door side, with a bed slide in the bedroom on the door side.
  • The front living area features a 74” Comfort Lounge sofa on the door side, with a fixed dinette booth on the off-door side.
  • The roomy kitchen is located on the off-door side rear of the sofa. The kitchen features pantry storage across the hallway along the bath wall.
  • The bathroom is located mid-ship and features a spacious vanity with lots of counter space, linen storage, as well as a 40” X 30” shower.
  • The bedroom provides a queen-size bed across from a large shirt wardrobe, dresser, and TV.

Electrical Features

  • The charging port in the dash area provides USB and USB-C connections.
  • An Axxera dash radio with Apple CarPlay and Sirius XM and a 10” single monitor come standard in the 2024 Bay Star Sport models.

Exterior Features

  • The 2024 Bay Star Sport has a new exterior graphic design in three color combinations.
  • There was a running change to replace the baggage seals to match that of the Dutch Star (no more slamming).

Interior Features

  • The Wrigley interior is still available in the 2024 models.
  • The Stealth and Teton interior designs have been replaced with two new options: Stowe and Cervo.
2024 Newmar Bay Star Sport

Bay Star Sport Option Changes

  • The cabover bunk and 2000 watt inverter options are no longer available on the 3225 floor plan due to carrying capacity.
  • The euro-booth dinette option (K024) has been discontinued for the 2024 model year.
  • There is an option for a Norcold 10 cu ft refrigerator on the 3014 and 3225 floor plans.

The Bay Star 3014, 3225, 3626, 3629 and 3811 floor plans have been retained for the 2024 model year. However, several Newmar Bay Star floor plans that were offered in 2023 have been discontinued for the 2024 model year, including the 3020, 3124, 3401, 3408, 3609 and 3616.

Additionally, there are 3 new floor plans for 2024:

Bay Star 3116

  • The Bay Star 3116 floor plan provides a full wall slide on the off-door side with a bed slide in the bedroom on the door side.
  • The front living area features a 74” Visionary tri-fold sofa on the door side, with a fixed dinette booth on the off-door side.
  • The roomy kitchen is located on the off-door side rear of the sofa. The kitchen features a pantry as well as storage across the hall.
  • The bathroom is located mid-ship and features a spacious vanity with plenty of counter space, linen storage and a 40” X 30” shower.
  • The bedroom features a king-size bed across from a large wardrobe, dresser and TV.

Bay Star 3423

  • The Bay Star 3423 floor plan is a triple slide model offering a large bathroom mid-ship and a king-size bed in the bedroom.
  • The front area features a dinette located in a slide out on the door side with a 74” Visionary tri-fold sofa on the off-door side.
  • The large galley is positioned on the same slide as the sofa and features a pantry rear of the refrigerator. There is additional pantry storage across from the kitchen along the bath wall.
  • The bathroom is located mid-ship and features a spacious vanity with plenty of counter space, linen storage and a 40” X 30” shower.
  • The bedroom features a large wardrobe with the room to accommodate an optional two-piece washer and dryer.
  • There is an additional wardrobe with drawers and a TV across from the foot of the king-size bed, which inclines when the slides are retracted.

Bay Star 3618

  • The Bay Star 3618 floor plan is a triple slide model with a full wall slide on the off-door side and a walk-in closet at the far rear of the coach.
  • The front area features a dinette located in a slide out on the door side with a 74” Visionary tri-fold sofa in the large slide on the off-door side.
  • The large galley is positioned on the same slide as the sofa and features a pantry rear of the refrigerator. There is additional pantry storage across from the kitchen along the bath wall.
  • The bathroom is located mid-ship and features a spacious vanity with plenty of counter space, linen storage and a 40” X 30” shower.
  • The bedroom features a king-size bed across from a large wardrobe, dresser and TV.
  • The walk-in closet immediately behind the bedroom offers lots of hanging space, a wardrobe with drawers, adjustable shelves and a second wardrobe that can accommodate an optional two-piece washer and dryer.

Chassis Features

  • The Ford chassis used in 2024 Bay Star models will provide Ford Motor Company’s Driver Assistance Package as a standard feature. This includes the following features:
    • Forward collision mitigation system
    • Automatic high beams
    • Automatic emergency braking
    • Distance indication and alert
    • Post-impact braking
    • Lane departure warning system (uses a Ford camera system and is mounted on the windshield)
    • Driver alert system and message center

Electrical Features

  • The charging port in the dash area provides USB and USB-C connections.

  • The 2024 Bay Star collection has a new exterior graphic design in three color combinations.

Bay Star Option Changes

  • A new vinyl plank flooring material will be offered with the Glacier woodgrain.
  • The option for ottomans has been dropped for 2024.
  • The recliner option has been dropped from the 3626 floor plan as this option would not allow for the drop down bunk option available.
  • The option for an additional 1200 watt inverter for the bedroom (option #L285) will no longer be available for 2024.
  • For the 3811 wheelchair accessible model, the over cab bunk will include a Comfort Lounge sofa and the fireplace cabinet with a TV behind the passenger seat.
  • The 2024 Bay Star 3811 wheelchair accessible floor plan will also provide the following 2023 model year options standard:
    • Power rewind reel for the electrical cord (option #L040). This will be the only Bay Star floor plan that offers a power electrical cord reel.
    • Power opening wheelchair door (option #R200).

2023 Newmar Dutch Star RV Tour with Angie Morell

The Dutch Star, a popular diesel motor coach, is all new for 2023.  It features redesigned front and rear caps, a dash with a completely new look.  As in all cases that Newmar life cycles its products, there are a host of new and exciting changes, including new standard features and options, as well as many new interior design elements summarized under “interior features”. 

2023 Newmar Dutch Star RV Floor Plans

The Dutch Star 3709, 3717, 3736, 4081, 4310, 4311, 4326, 4328, and 4369 floor plans have been retained for the 2023 model year as these are all very popular selling models.  The 4020 and 4363 floor plans are no longer available for 2023, as these patio side dinette offerings have been replaced with new models offering the same feature.

For the 4311 wheel chair accessible floor plan, the king bed with 48” X 36” shower is still the standard layout. There is, however, a change to the option for a queen bed which will offer a larger 57” shower for the 2023 model year.

The rear master bathroom on the DutchStar 4369 is modified in that it has been reversed side to side, so as to create more space around the foot of the bed when transitioning from the bedroom into the rear bath.

In addition, the half bath layout of the 4369 and 4363 have been modified.

There are 3 new floor plans offered for the 2023 model year:

Newmar Dutch Star 4071

  • The Dutch Star 4071 is a full wall slide bath and a half model with opposing sofas and a dinette that faces out at the patio.  It replaces the 4020 floor plan offered in 2022.
  • The standard euro-booth dinette is the only dining furniture available on this new floor plan.  This, along with the HWH slide, allows Newmar to offer full height baggage doors underneath the patio awning and allow for an optional exterior entertainment center to be located in the side wall of the slide room.
  • The front living area features an 87” side folding hide-a-bed sofa on the off-door side across from a 68” jackknife sofa on the door side.
  • Further back, a large and functional kitchen is located on the off-door side across from the standard euro-booth dinette.
  • The half bath is located mid-ship.
  • The bedroom provides a king bed, two shirt wardrobes and dresser with drawers, and TV across from the foot of the bed.
  • The rear master bathroom features a large vanity with plenty of counter space, cabinet that can house the optional washer and dryer, large wardrobe and a 40” X 30” glass enclosed shower.

Newmar Dutch Star 4325

  • The Dutch Star 4325 is a new full wall slide bath and a half model with a couple of unique features in the kitchen area.
  • The front living area features an 87” side folding hide-a-bed sofa on the off-door side across from a 68” jackknife sofa on the door side.
  • Rear of the off-door side sofa is the hide-a-leaf dinette, and a refrigerator with a large pantry on each side.  These two pantries have decorative “feet” that gives the appearance of a piece of furniture.
  • Across from the refrigerator sits the large and functional galley with a pull out cabinet for even more counter space.
  • Rear of the kitchen, is a stationary cabinet that extends the counter space even further and provides more storage below the counter and in the overhead cabinet above the counter.  This cabinet can accommodate an optional wine cooler and stemware cabinet overhead.
  • The bedroom provides a king bed, two shirt wardrobes and dresser with drawers, and TV across from the foot of the bed.

Newmar Dutch Star 4370

  • The Dutch Star 4370 is a full wall slide bath and a half model with opposing sofas and a dinette that faces out at the patio.  It replaces the 4363 floor plan offered in 2022
  • The standard euro-booth dinette is the only dining furniture available on this new floor plan.  This, along with the HWH slide, allows Newmar to offer full height baggage doors underneath the patio awning and allow for an optional exterior entertainment center to be located in the side wall of the slide room.
  • The front living area features an 87” side folding hide-a-bed sofa on the off-door side across from a 74” jackknife sofa on the door side.
  • Further back, a large and functional kitchen is located on the off-door side across from the standard euro-booth dinette.
  • The half bath is located mid-ship.
  • The bedroom provides a king bed, two shirt wardrobes and dresser with drawers, and TV across from the foot of the bed.
  • The rear master bathroom features a vanity with two sinks, cabinet that can house the optional washer and dryer, large wardrobe that spans the entire rear wall and a 50” X 34” glass enclosed shower.

Newmar Dutch Star 3736

Appliances And Accessories

  • Apple Car Play is a new feature on the standard dash radio.
  • For 2023, a change has been made to the standard HD back up camera on Dutch Star, which will feature static grid lines (like other Newmar diesel brands higher up the product line-up).
  • The 2023 Dutch Star features larger 9” dash radio and monitor.

Cabinets And Furniture

  • With the life cycle change of the Dutch Star for the 2023 model year, new cabinet and furniture designs include:
    • New furniture styling, including the front driver and passenger seats.
    • New slide out fascia designs.
    • A new feature ceiling.
    • New door and drawer hardware.
    • New headboard style.
    • New style of dinette chairs.
    • New styling of the pocket doors.
    • Decorative “feet” have been added to the night stands.
  • The driver seat will have vibration for the standard Mobile Eye lane tracking and departure warning system.
  • The rear bath cabinet layout has been changed on the Dutch Star 4071 and 4081 floor plans.
  • The appliance garage in the kitchen has been eliminated.
  • The medicine cabinets in the rear bathroom have been redesigned on the 4369 model.
  • The euro-booth dinette is standard on the 4071 and 4370 floor plans, and will be the only dining configuration available.  This change, in conjunction with the HWH slides used on Dutch Star, allowed Newmar to provide full height baggage doors on the door side, even with the dinette facing out under the patio.  This is the first time that Newmar has provided this feature combination.
  • The new Dutch Star 4325 model will feature “feet” on the pantry cabinets forward of and rearward of the refrigerator.

Chassis Features

  • The standard Freightliner and optional Spartan chassis will offer the Mobile Eye lane tracking and departure warning system as a standard feature.
  • The Comfort Drive comfort control has moved to the “favorites” button on the steering wheel on the Freightliner chassis.  Pressing the “favorites” button will bring up the Comfort Drive menu which can then be manipulated with the “up” and “down” arrows.
  • The Comfort Drive comfort control can now be adjusted by a toggle switch located behind the right side switch pod of the steering wheel on the Spartan chassis.  This allows the operator to control the efforts adjustment directly without searching through the menu on the glass dash.
  • The optional Spartan chassis features a new Valid digital dash.
  • A new nine function center switch pod has been added to the steering wheel on the Spartan chassis.
  • The front axle rating on the 43’ Spartan chassis has been changed from a Reyco brand to Meritor.  This new axle does save some weight, and has a shorter wheel cut.
  • The Optiview dash display programming is new and features new graphics on the FCCC chassis.
  • A new Auto on / off and “Intelligent” high / low beam system is standard on the FCCC and Spartan chassis for 2023.  On the FCCC chassis, this feature can only be disabled through the menu on the glass dash.

Electrical Features

  • The 2023 Dutch Star features a new app that connects to Bluetooth to allow the remote control of numerous features from a personal device.  The systems controlled include the following features:  Interior lights, HVAC, water pump and tank monitoring.
  • A new 10.1” central monitor panel will control the interior lighting and HVAC controls.  This new panel will be located in an exposed location near the middle of each floor plan.  The exact location will vary by floor plan.  This monitor will no longer be in an overhead cabinet.
  • The dash radio, cameras and monitors will power up from both the house and ignition systems.
  • New styles of wall sconces and vanity lights are featured in Dutch Star for 2023.

Exterior Features

  • For 2023, Newmar’s Dutch Star features a new front and rear cap, new exterior graphics and colors (4 to choose from).
  • In response to customer requests for brighter headlights, new Silverstar ultra headlight bulbs are featured for high and low beam lighting.

Interior Features

With the life cycle change of Essex for the 2023 model year, new interior designs include:

  • With the life cycle change of the Dutch Star for the 2023 model year, new interior designs include:
    • New flooring.
    • New backsplashes in the kitchen and bath areas.
    • New bedding style.
    • New countertop edging design.
    • Four new decors called “Alora”, “Bayshore”, “Camelot”, and “Dali” are available on the new 2023 Dutch Star.
  • Continuing with new interior designs on the 2023 Dutch Star:
    • New window treatments.
    • New shower inserts.
    • New art work.
    • New dash panel and skirt colors (see interior design specifications).
    • The interior door handles will have a brushed nickel finish instead of the chrome used previously.

Plumbing and Bath Features

  • New sinks styles are featured in the kitchen and half bath.
  • New plumbing fixtures and bath hardware.
  • New shower diverter finish – gun metal.
  • Shower doors will also have a brushed nickel finish in place of the chrome used last year.

Construction Features

  • New styling of the dash and trim in the driver and passenger areas.
  • New driver and passenger wall consoles.
  • New basement storage door seals replace the old seals, making it much easier to close exterior compartment doors.  NO MORE SLAMMING!!
  • New dash grab handle design near the entry step well.

Windows, Awnings, Vents and Doors

  • The power driver window has been upgraded to a bonded design similar to those used in Newmar’s luxury brands.
  • An egress window has been added to the off door side of the 4369 floor plan due to the secondary egress door in the rear bathroom switching sides.

Option Changes

  • A new option for all electric with a Lithium Ion Battery System is available on Dutch Star for 2023.  This option includes two (2) Lithionics brand 320 amp hour battery packs and surge guard transfer switch.  Installation requires an enclosed battery compartment and will have sufficient room and provision for the dealer to add and plug in a 3rd battery pack of the same model for 50% more power if desired.
  • Because of the change made to the 4071 and 4370 models to include a standard euro-booth dinette, these models will have an exterior entertainment option installed up in the sidewall (instead of down low in an exterior compartment).
  • A new convertible dinette with chairs that face the window or convert to fore and aft seating (traditional) is now an available option.  This new optional dinette includes two fixed and two folding dinette chairs.
  • A new Wi-Fi Ranger “Everest” system (option J347) with “Aspen” Wi-Fi router is the option for internet access for 2023.  This replaces the “Teton” system offered in 2022.
  • The option for 360 degree camera will allow for selectable views and available to view when in reverse.
  • There is a new option for a beverage center with wine cooler and stemware rack on the new 4325 model.
  • On the 4311 floor plan, the queen bed option will include a smaller (new size) 57’ roll in shower and provide more room at the forward side of the bed between the shower and the bed.
  • The option for a solid surface kitchen sink has been discontinued.
  • The Sable wood option has been replaces with a new gray tone wood option named “Driftwood”.
  • The option for queen bed (K030) has been discontinued for 2023.  This feature, however, can be ordered as a special request.
  • The option for 2nd Girard G2000 side awning has been discontinued due to low usage.  In order to get 2 side awnings, the option for 2 “Nova” awnings must be selected.

Life Cycle Change For 2023

The Newmar Bay Star, a popular gas coach, is all new for 2023.  It features redesigned front and rear caps, a dash with a completely new look, a taller 84” interior ceiling height, as well as many new interior design elements summarized under “interior features”. 

2023 Newmar Bay Star Motorhome Floor Plans

The Bay Star 3014, 3124, 3401, 3408, 3609, 3616, 3626 and 3811 floor plans have been retained for the 2023 model year.

The 3005, 3226 and 3416 models are no longer available this new model year.

There are 3 new floor plans for the 2023 model year:

Newmar Bay Star 3020

  • The Bay Star 3020 is the new Bay Star Sport 2920 introduced for this new model year with an 84” sofa, larger kitchen and pantry.
  • The front area provides an 84” sofa on the off-door side, with an L-shaped kitchen with countertop extension located on the door side.
  • A booth dinette and pantry is located rearward of the sofa on the off-door side and a large enclosed bathroom with vanity, linen, commode and 40” X 30” rectangular shower on the door side.
  • The master bedroom provides a king bed, larger shirt wardrobe with dresser drawers and TV.

Newmar Bay Star 3225

  • The Bay Star 3225 is the 3226 floor plan offered in 2022 with a full wall slide on the off-door side, making this a roomier floor plan in the bedroom area at the foot of the bed.
  • The front of this model offers a 74” sofa on the off door side, with a booth dinette and “Televator” in a slide out on the door side.
  • A large and functional kitchen with pantry is located mid-coach on the off-door side across from which is a pantry located on the bath wall.
  • The enclosed bathroom is located on the door side mid-coach, and provides a vanity, linen, commode and 40” X 30” rectangular shower.
  • The master bedroom provides a king bed, larger shirt wardrobe with dresser drawers and TV.

Newmar Bay Star 3629

  • The Bay Star 3629 is a new full wall slide, bath-and-a-half model with a patio side dinette.
  • The front of this model offers a 74” Visionary V2 tri-fold sleeper sofa on the off door side, with a booth dinette and “Televator” in a slide out on the door side.
  • A large and functional kitchen with pantry is located mid-coach on the off-door side across from which is a pantry located on the bath wall.
  • Across from the kitchen, there is a cabinet facing into the hallway that can house an optional washer and dryer.
  • In addition, an enclosed half bath is located on the door side mid-coach, and provides a vanity, large linen, and commode.
  • The master bedroom provides a king bed, larger shirt wardrobe with dresser drawers and TV.
  • Finally, at the far rear of this new floor plan is the master bathroom which offers a large vanity, commode, additional linen storage and large 40” X 30” rectangular shower.

Newmar Bay Star 3014

Appliances And Accessories

  • The option for 3 burner cook top with convection microwave oven (J062) is a standard feature for 2023.
  • A new Axxera touch screen dash radio with 10” monitor replaces the Sony radio and Voyager monitor used previously in Bay Star.  This radio allows the customer to display navigation from their smart device onto the monitor.  This feature includes Apple Carplay and is Siruis XM ready.  The Xite radio option (J339) and Sirius radio capability (J621) are no longer available.  This new Axxera dash radio is the standard and only in dash radio offered on the 2023 Bay Star.

Construction Features

  • The interior ceiling height of the 2023 Bay Star has been increased to 84”,
  • Included in the life cycle change, the Bay Star has a newly designed dash and cockpit trim, as well as passenger and driver wall consoles.
  • A swivel has been added to the drop down mechanism used for the front TV on the 3124 and 3811 models.

Cabinets And Furniture

  • With the increased ceiling height, the interior walls and cabinetry are also taller.
  • The 2023 Bay Star offers a new slide-out fascia design, new furniture styling, dinette chair as well as a new cabinet door style.
  • New drawer fronts matching the cabinet door style also provide a new look to the interior of the 2023 Bay Star.
  • Wood paneling has been added behind a newly designed headboard.
  • A manual footrest has been added to the passenger seat.

Chassis Features

  • The 3014 and 3124 models for the 2023 model year will be built on the 24,000 GVWR Ford chassis (instead of the 22,000 GVWR).
  • The 3401 and 3408 models will be built on the 26,000 GVWR Ford chassis (in lieu of the 24,000 GVWR version).
  • The wheelbase on the 2023 Bay Star 3014, 3124, 3401 and 3408 models have been revised to optimize weight distribution on these floor plans.

Electrical Features

  • Multiplex interior lighting controls have been added for 2023.
  • KIB holding tank monitor and sensors are used for 2023.  This KIB system will also include water pump switch and HVAC controls.
  • The dash radio, cameras and monitors will power up from both the house and ignition systems.
  • A new 10.1” central monitor panel will control the interior lighting and HVAC controls.  This new panel will be located in an exposed location near the middle of each floor plan.  The exact location will vary by floor plan.  This monitor will no longer be in an overhead cabinet.
  • In conjunction with this year’s life cycle change, the Bay Star features new wall sconces and vanity lights.
  • The cockpit area provides two wireless phone charging stations for 2023.

Exterior Features

  • For 2023, Newmar’s Bay Star features a new front and rear cap, new exterior graphics and colors (3 to choose from), and a one-piece fiberglass roof with molded radius wraps is a standard feature.
  • In response to customer requests for brighter headlights, new Silverstar ultra headlight bulbs are featured for high and low beam lighting.
  • With an increase in height of the Bay Star for 2023, a new (longer) rear ladder is now standard.

Interior Features

  • Three new décors called “Burma”, “Axis” and “Colusa” are available for 2023.
  • Other new interior designs include new flooring (vinyl tile), newly styled kitchen backsplash, new cabinet drawer and door hardware, new vanity lights, new bedding collection, new art work, new countertop edging and new window treatments.
  • A new 4” solid surface backsplash has also been added to the vanity of half baths and 8” to the vanity of a full bath.
  • The standard vinyl tile flooring will extend into the bedroom for 2023.
  • A new color of ceiling vinyl (Parma) and new dash panel colors are featured in Bay Star for 2023.

Plumbing and Bath Features

  • The 2023 Bay Star offers new kitchen, bath and shower plumbing fixtures, as well as new shower surround design.
  • The sinks in the main and half bathrooms are all new.
  • A new 36” radius shower surround will be used in the 3124 and 3401 floor plans.

Windows, Awnings, Vents and Doors

  • The height of some windows in the 2023 Bay Star has been increased as a result of the taller ceiling.
  • The driver and passenger seat windows have been enlarged to go 5” further back so as to provide better side visibility.

Option Changes

  • The optional cab over bunk (option K930) has been redesigned to extend all the way to the windshield.  This option now provides a larger mattress and the overhead cabinet hangs below the bunks. 
    • This option does not include a TV above the driver and passenger seats. 
    • This newly designed option is available on the Bay Star 3014, 3225, 3401, 3408, 3609, 3626, and 3629. 
    • It is not available on the 3020 and 3124 as it would eliminate the only TV in the living room on these models.
    • It is not available on the 3616 and 3811 as there are not enough seat belts for sleeping positions if added.
  • A new exterior entertainment center (option J405) is available on certain 2023 Bay Star floor plans, and replaces the option offered in 2022.  This option includes a TV, radio and speakers in the sidewall.  Floor plans eligible for this new option include: 3124, 3401, 3609, 3616, and 3626.     
  • A new Wi-Fi Ranger “Everest” system (option J347) with “Aspen” Wi-Fi router is the option for internet access for 2023.  This replaces the “Teton” system offered in 2022.
  • The options for Whirlpool 11 cu. ft. refrigerators with (J210) and without (J200) icemaker will include a 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter with six (6) batteries and includes the receptacles and access ports for C-PAP prep in the bedroom.
  • For 2023, a new wood option “Amaretto Glazed Maple” (Toffee glazed maple wrap equivalent) replaces the “Harbour Glazed Maple” offered in Bay Star previously.
  • A 2000 watt inverter with six (6) 6 volt batteries is a new option (L250).  This option includes receptacles and access ports for the C-PAP prep in the bedroom.                                                
  • New furniture for the 2023 Bay Star include:
    • 74” theater seating is available on select floor plan.
    • New incliner sofa in 74” and 84” lengths.  This new incliner will work on the 3225, 3401, 3408 and 3629 models.
  • The following options have been deleted from the Bay Star brand for 2023:
    • The option for Wi-Fi Ranger “Teton / Poplar” combo (J340) has been obsoleted.
    • The option for free standing dinette table w/ chairs (K779) has been eliminated.
    • The option for buffet dinette w/ free standing table (K802) has been discontinued.

2023 Newmar Essex RV Tour with Angie Morell

The Newmar Essex is all new for 2023. It features redesigned front and rear caps, as well as a redesigned dash. As in all cases that Newmar life cycles its products, there are a host of new and exciting changes, including new standard features and options, as well as many new interior design elements summarized under “interior features”. 

Floor Plans

The following 2022 Essex models are still in the line-up for the 2023 model year:  4551, 4569 and 4578. The 4533 model (replaced with the new 4521) is no longer being offered for the 2023 model year.

There are two new floor plans in the offering for the 2023 Newmar Essex.

Newmar 2023 Essex 4521

The Newmar Essex 4521 is a new full wall slide, bath and a half model with a patio side euro-booth dinette which replaces the 4533 offered in 2022.  The euro booth, in conjunction with the HWH slide mechanism, allowed Newmar to provide a door side dining area, but provide full height baggage doors and an optional exterior entertainment center up in the side wall under the patio awning.

  • The front living area of the 4521 provides an 84” hide-a-bed sofa on the off door side, across from a standard 74” jackknife sofa with “Televator” on the door side.
  • The kitchen is located on the off-door side just rear of the 84” sofa.
  • The euro-booth dinette with leaf and 2 folding chairs is located in the door side slide room just rear of the 74” sofa.
  • The half bath is located mid-coach, just across from the refrigerator and pantry.
  • The bedroom features a king bed, with dresser, overhead cabinet with window, and TV on the off-door side across from the foot of the bed.
  • The master bath area provides a two sink vanity, large wardrobe along the rear wall, as well as a separate washer and dryer cabinet and large 50” X 34” glass enclosed residential shower.

Newmar 2023 Essex 4595

  • The front living area of the 4595 provides an 87” side folding hide-a-bed sofa on the off door side, across from a standard 74” jackknife sofa with “Televator” on the door side.
  • Rear of the off-door side sofa is the hide-a-leaf dinette, and a refrigerator with a large pantry on the forward side and a storage cabinet with adjustable shelves rear of the refrigerator .  These two cabinets have decorative “feet” that gives the appearance of a piece of furniture.
  • Across from the refrigerator sits the large and functional galley.  Rear of the kitchen, is a stationary cabinet that extends the counter space even further and provides more storage below the counter and in the overhead cabinet above the counter.  This cabinet can accommodate an optional wine cooler and stemware cabinet overhead.
  • The bedroom provides a king bed, with dresser and drawers, and TV across from the foot of the bed.
  • The rear master bathroom features a large two sink vanity along the rear wall, cabinet that can house the standard washer and dryer, a large amount of wardrobe space and a 40” X 32” glass enclosed shower.

Appliances And Accessories

  • The dash HVAC system features rotary control knobs with setting information displayed on the dash monitor.  The monitor itself will only display the information and will not provide any touch screen control.  The HVAC system can only be controlled by the rotary knobs.
  • The kitchen appliances will be Bosch brand, except for the dishwasher.  The standard washer and dryer remain Whirlpool brand units.
  • Apple Car Play is a new feature on the standard dash radio.
  • Wi-Fi Ranger “Denali-Spruce” LTE wireless system is standard and replaces the “Teton” LTE unit provided in 2023.

Cabinets And Furniture

  • The bed base will feature a new design.  The corner columns previously offered have been eliminated and a new pattern and design has been added to the panels on the bed base.
  • New furniture and cabinet designs have been developed for:
    • All furniture.
    • The vanity base in the main bath area.
    • Cabinet door and door styles.
    • New dinette chairs.
    • New cabinet door and drawer hardware.
    • New slide out fascia.
    • A new feature ceiling.
    • New cabinet “feet”, as well as adding “feet” to the night stands in the bedroom.
    • Antique glass has been added to the doors on the base cabinet of the night stands.
    • New pocket door, swing door and wardrobe door styling.
    • The pocket doors will utilize a higher quality trolley system for smoother operation.
    • New styling for the headboard in the bedroom.
  • The Ginger Glazed Cherry wood finish is replaced by a new Sedona Glazed Maple finish.
  • For 2023, space is provided in the pantry for trays and bakeware.
  • Pull-out shoe storage drawers have been added in the rear wardrobe on select floor plans.
  • The rear bathroom cabinet layout has been modified on the Essex 4578 floor plan.
  • The euro-booth dinette is standard on the 4521 floor plan, and will be the only dining configuration available.  This change, in conjunction with the HWH slides used on Essex, allowed Newmar to provide full height baggage doors on the door side, even with the dinette facing out under the patio.  This is the first time that Newmar has provided this feature combination.
  • The foot rests have been eliminated from all sofas.
  • The center portion of the bedroom dresser has been modified to accommodate a larger egress window.
  • For 2023, the standard Essex passenger seat is the same width as the driver’s seat.  A wider passenger seat will still be available as an option on the order form.

Chassis Features

  • The 2023 Essex steering wheel is trimmed in black leather in lieu of burl wood finish as in past years.
  • The Comfort Drive comfort control can now be adjusted by a toggle switch located behind the right side switch pod of the steering wheel on the Spartan chassis.  This allows the operator to control the efforts adjustment directly without searching through the menu on the glass dash.
  • The standard Spartan chassis features a new Valid digital dash.
  • A new nine function center switch pod has been added to the steering wheel on the Spartan chassis.
  • The front axle on the 45’ Spartan chassis has been changed from a Reyco brand to Meritor.  Although this does not change the axle weight rating (still 20,000 # GAWR), this new axle does provide a shorter wheel cut and save some weight.
  • For 2023, the Essex can be tilted to the off door side by raising the passenger side.  This feature can be controlled by the Silverleaf panel in the water bay outside, so as to assist in draining and dumping the holding tanks.
  • Blind spot detection with 6 sensors has been added as a standard feature on Essex for 2023.
  • Electronically controlled proportioning drive and tag axle suspension has been added as a standard feature.   This will enable the owner to change the settings between two predefined values that will redistribute the coach weight from the front steering and rear tag axle onto the drive axle when the “trailer tow mode” is off.  Reversely, some weight can be shifted from the rear drive and tag axles onto the front steering axle when the “trailer tow mode” is turned on.  This feature provides improved weight distribution between these axles.

Electrical Features

  • A new standard feature has been added to Essex in 2023 for all electric with a Lithium Ion Battery System.  This standard feature includes two (2) Lithionics brand 320 amp hour battery packs, surge guard transfer switch, and an additional 3000 watt inverter.  Installation requires an enclosed battery compartment and will have sufficient room and provision for the dealer to add and plug in a 3rd battery pack of the same model for 50% more power if desired.
  • The dash radio, cameras and monitors will power up from both the house and ignition systems.
  • The Silver leaf monitor in the front overhead has been made larger at 10” in size.  Note that the monitor in the bedroom remains the same size.
  • The lighting control functionality on the Silverleaf system has been expanded and will include individual lighting controls similar to the KIB touch panels.  This applies to the control panels in the coach as well as on the My Rozie app.
  • The new side tilt dump mode controls have been added to the Silverleaf panel in the water works compartment.
  • A generator start & stop function has been added to the touchscreen in the water bay compartment.
  • A new style of vanity wall sconces will be featured in the bath areas of the 2023 Essex.

Exterior Features

  • The 2023 Essex features new front and rear caps, as well as a new wiper cover and “Essex” logo.
  • The center brake light on the newly designed rear cap is mounted higher so as to better see it over a tow vehicle.
  • The push button exterior baggage doors with power closing system (same as the King Aire in 2022) is a new standard feature on the 2023 Essex.  This eliminates all baggage door handles and creates a cleaner look up and down the side of this luxury motor home.
  • In response to customer requests for brighter headlights, new Silverstar ultra headlight bulbs are featured for high and low beam lighting.
  • New stainless steel exhaust tips for the generator and Oasis system replace the chrome versions used previously.

Interior Features

With the life cycle change of Essex for the 2023 model year, new interior designs include:

  • New flooring.
  • Wooden trim rings around the windows (bonded windows).
  • New backsplashes in the kitchen and bath areas.
  • New bedding style.
  • New countertop edge profile.
  • Two new decors called “Hepburn” and “Paragon”.  “Galena” and “Algonquin” are carried over interior packages from the 2022 model year.
  • New window treatments.
  • New shower tile and design.
  • New two tone dash, with upper portion in black and lower portion varying by décor selected.
  • A new storage pocket has been added to the new passenger console.
  • The 4551 and 4521 will offer new wardrobe layouts.
  • The lighted full bath mirror previously offered has been replaced with individual mirrors in front of each sink.  There will be a wall sconce between these two mirrors.
  • New sofa pillow styles will be offered.

Plumbing and Bath Features

  • Electric gate valves are a new standard feature.
  • New plumbing fixtures in the kitchen and all bath areas.
  • A new sink is featured in the full bathroom.
  • A new glass under-mounted sink will be standard in half baths.
  • A new sink will be a highlight in the kitchen as well.
  • A 40” X 32” rectangular shower replaces the neo-angled shower previously offered in the 4569 floor plan.

Construction Features

  • The 2023 Essex features new baggage doors with a formed inner skin.  This is the same door construction used in the King Aire.
  • The passenger seat pedestal has been moved slightly rearward so as to provide more clearance space between the seat and the dash when entering the coach.
  • On the new 4521 model with the patio side dinette, the slide mechanism has been changed to go straight in and out so as to provide full height baggage doors on the door side of this floor plan.
  • In conjunction with the life cycle change, a newly designed dash is featured in the Essex for 2023.
  • A new wireless phone charger for the driver and passenger is standard feature in the cockpit area.
  • The window framing has changed to square corners in lieu of radius corners.  In addition, the window framing will extend into the corners of the slide rooms.

Windows, Awnings, Vents and Doors

  • Bonded windows will be a standard feature throughout the 2023 Essex.  In the slide rooms, these will extend into the corners of the slide outs where applicable.
  • These windows have been added to the ends of the slide room on the 4521 Essex.
  • Armless Girard power window awnings are a new standard feature (needed with the new bonded windows.

Option Changes

  • Additional features have been added to the newly designed Villa brand theatre seat.  These include: An upgraded cup holder, built in control buttons for power recline, and a USB port.
  • There is an option for one ottoman.
  • A new option for a fireplace with desk and single chair is available on the 4551 Essex.
  • A new option for beverage center with wine cooler and stemware rack is available on the 4595 Essex.
  • A new wood trim table leg is included in the optional powered U-shaped dinette.
  • Because of the change made to the 4521 model to include a standard euro-booth dinette, this model will have an exterior entertainment option installed up in the sidewall (instead of down low in an exterior compartment).
  • A new convertible dinette with chairs that face the window or convert to fore and aft seating (traditional) is now an available option.  This new optional dinette includes two fixed and two folding dinette chairs.
  • A new Wi-Fi Ranger “Everest” system (option J347) with “Aspen” WI-Fi router is the option for internet access for 2023.  This replaces the “Teton” system offered in 2022.
  • The Toffee wood option has been replaces with a new gray tone wood option named “Driftwood”.
  • A new option for a 40” euro-booth dinette is available on the 4569 model.
  • A new options for wider passenger seat and/or a wider passenger seat with massage are available on the 2023 Essex.
  • The option for window with sliding door at the head of the bed is being discontinued with this life cycle change for Essex.
  • The CSA option will include a GE Advantium microwave instead of the new Bosch microwave (not CSA certified).

The following 2022 London Aire models are still in the line-up for the 2023 model year:  4535, 4551, and 4579.  The London Aire 4533 (replaced with the new 4521), and 4589 (replaced with the new 4586) floor plans are no longer being offered for the new model year.

There are three new floor plans offered for the 2023 model year:

Newmar 2023 London Aire 4521:

The 2023 London Aire 4569, replicates the popular Essex model offered over the last several years.

  • The front living area of the 4569 provides an 87” side folding hide-a-bed sofa on the off door side, across from a standard 68” jackknife sofa with “Televator” on the door side.
    • The hide-a-leaf dinette, refrigerator, pantry and second storage area are located in the slide out on the off-door side rear of the 87” seating area, and a large and spacious U-shaped kitchen with stationary peninsula is situated in the door side slide room just rear of the 68” sofa.
    • The half bath is located mid-coach, just across from the refrigerator and pantry.
    • The bedroom features a king bed, with dresser, overhead cabinet with window, and TV on the off-door side across from the foot of the bed.
    • The master bath area provides a two sink vanity along the rear wall, two wardrobes, as well as a separate washer and dryer cabinet and large 40” X 32” glass enclosed residential shower.

Newmar 2023 London Aire 4586: 

The new London Aire 4586 is a new quad-slide rear bedroom model with a large walk through bath area mid-coach.  This floor plan replaces the 4589 offered in the 2022 model year.

  • The front living area of the 4586 provides an 87” side folding hide-a-bed sofa on the off door side, across from a standard 74” jackknife sofa with “Televator” on the door side.
  • The hide-a-leaf dinette, refrigerator and pantry are located in the slide out on the off-door side rear of the 87” seating area, and a large and spacious kitchen with pull out cabinet is situated in the door side slide room just rear of the 74” sofa.
  • A Large walk through bath is located mid-ship, and provides a dual sink vanity, linen storage, and enclosed room for the commode as well as a 50” X 34” residential shower.
  • The bedroom features a king bed, with dresser, overhead cabinet with window, and TV on the door side across from the foot of the bed.
  • Finally, a large wardrobe with washer and dryer spans the entire width of the rear wall of the bedroom, providing ample clothing storage and hanging space.

Appliances And Accessories

  • Apple Car Play is a new feature on the standard dash radio.
  • Wi-Fi Ranger “Denali-Spruce” LTE wireless system is standard and replaces the “Teton” LTE unit provided in 2023.
  • A change was made to the Bose 900 sound bar.

Cabinets And Furniture

  • For 2023, space is provided in the pantry for trays and bakeware.
  • The euro-booth dinette is standard on the 4521 floor plan, and will be the only dining configuration available.  This change, in conjunction with the HWH slides used on London Aire, allowed Newmar to provide full height baggage doors on the door side, even with the dinette facing out under the patio.  This is the first time that Newmar has provided this feature combination.
  • The bedroom dresser cabinets, TV and window area across from the foot of the bed have been redesigned.   The television will swing out and the safe is located in the cabinet behind the TV, instead of in the rear wardrobe (floor plan specific).
  • The rear bath cabinet layout has been changed on the London Aire 4535 floor plan.
  • For 2023, the standard London Aire passenger seat is the same width as the driver’s seat.  A wider passenger seat will still be available as an option on the order form.

Interior Features

  • Four new optional décor packages called “Hayworth”, “Sela”, “Cavalli” and “Kelso” are available in 2023.
  • New flooring has been selected for the London Aire in 2023, due to the flooring material used in 2022 being discontinued.
  • New art work will be featured in London Aire for 2023.
  • Crown molding has been added in the rear bathroom of specific floor plans.
  • Wood grain paneling has been added behind the mirror above the dual sink vanity in specific models.
  • A new vinyl ceiling material color called “Parma” will be used in the London Aire for 2023.

Construction Features

  • The 2023 London Aire features new baggage doors with a formed inner skin.  This is the same door construction used in the King Aire.
  • New basement storage door seals replace the old seals, making it much easier to close exterior compartment doors.  NO MORE SLAMMING!!
  • The passenger seat pedestal has been moved slightly rearward so as to provide more clearance space between the seat and the dash when entering the coach.

The Bay Star Sport 2813, 3014, 3315, and 3316 floor plans have been retained for the 2023 model year.

The 2702, 2905 and 3226 models are no longer available this new model year.

There 3 new floor plans for the 2023 model year:

Newmar 2023 Bay Star Sport 2720 

  • The Bay Star Sport 2720 is essentially the popular 2702 floor plan made even better with the addition of a full wall slide.  This makes the new 2720 roomier in the bedroom area at the foot of the bed.
  • The front area provides a 74” Comfort Lounge (jackknife folding) seating area on the off-door side, with an L-shaped kitchen with countertop extension located on the door side.
  • A booth dinette is located rearward of the sofa on the off-door side and a large enclosed bathroom with vanity, linen, commode and 32” radius shower on the door side.
  • The master bedroom provides a queen bed, large shirt wardrobe with dresser drawers and TV.

Newmar 2023 Bay Star Sport 2920 

  • The Bay Star Sport 2920 is the new 2720 with a pantry, larger enclosed bath area and king bed.
  • The front area provides a 74” Comfort Lounge (jackknife folding) seating area on the off-door side, with an L-shaped kitchen with countertop extension located on the door side.
  • A booth dinette and pantry is located rearward of the sofa on the off-door side and a large enclosed bathroom with vanity, linen, commode and 40” X 30” rectangular shower on the door side.
  • The master bedroom provides a king bed, larger shirt wardrobe with dresser drawers and TV.

Newmar 2023 Bay Star Sport 3225

  • The Bay Star Sport 3225 is the 3226 floor plan offered in 2022 with a full wall slide on the off-door side, making this a roomier floor plan in the bedroom area at the foot of the bed.
  • The front of this model offers a 74” Comfort Lounge (jackknife folding) sofa on the off door side, with a booth dinette and “Televator” in a slide out on the door side.
  • A large and functional kitchen with pantry is located mid-coach on the off-door side across from which is a pantry located on the bath wall.
  • The enclosed bathroom is located on the door side mid-coach, and provides a vanity, linen, commode and 40” X 30” rectangular shower.
  • The master bedroom provides a king bed, larger shirt wardrobe with dresser drawers and TV.

Appliances and Accessories

  • The standard DVD player has been deleted for 2023.  The prep wiring for the DVD player will continue to be provided by Newmar.

Cabinets and Furniture

  • A manual footrest has been added to the passenger seat from Williamsburg furniture.

Electrical Features

  • Multiplex interior lighting controls have been added for 2023.
  • KIB holding tank monitor and sensors are used for 2023.  This KIB system will also include water pump switch and HVAC controls.
  • The audio and visual distribution cabling will use HDMI – CAT 6 for the 2023 model year.
  • The dash radio, cameras and monitors will power up from both the house and ignition systems.
  • A new 10.1” central monitor panel will control the interior lighting and HVAC controls.  This new panel will be located in an exposed location near the middle of each floor plan.  The exact location will vary by floor plan.  This monitor will no longer be in an overhead cabinet.

Exterior Features

  • The 2023 Bay Star Sport will have a new graphic design and colors.  Three color combinations will still be offered.
  • In response to customer requests for brighter headlights, new Silverstar ultra headlight bulbs are featured for high and low beam lighting.

Interior Features

  • A new décor “Wrigley” replaces “Mercato” for 2023.  The “Teton” and “Stealth” interior décor packages offered in 2022 are still available for 2023.
  • Vinyl tile flooring is standard and replaces the linoleum products that were standard previously.
  • A new ceiling vinyl color names “Parma” is standard on all Bay Star Sport models for the new model year.
  • The 2023 Bay Star Sport will feature new art work for 2023.

Plumbing and Bath Features

  • The 2720 model offers a new shower pan, surround and shower door for the 32” X 32” radius shower.

Windows, Awnings, Vents and Doors

  • Dual pane windows are a standard feature (optional previously) on all 2023 Bay Star Sport models.

Option Changes

  • The optional cab over bunk (option K935) has been redesigned to extend all the way to the windshield.  This option now provides a larger mattress.  
    • This option does not include a TV above the driver and passenger seats.  
    • This newly designed option is available on the Bay Star Sport 3014 and 3225 only.  
    • It is not available on the 2720 and 2920 as it would eliminate the only TV in the living room on these models.
    • It is not available on the 2813 and 3316 as it would eliminate the only viable location for the breaker box.
    • It is not available on the 3315 (bunk model) as there are not enough seat belts for sleeping positions if added.
  • A new exterior entertainment center (option J405) is available on certain 2023 Bay Star Sport floor plans.  This option includes a 32” TV, radio and speakers in the sidewall.  Floor plans eligible for this new option include: 2813 and 3014.      
  • A new Wi-Fi Ranger “Everest” system (option J347) with “Aspen” Wi-Fi router is the option for internet access for 2023.  This replaces the “Teton” system offered in 2022.
  • For 2023, a new wood option “Amaretto Glazed Maple” (Toffee glazed maple wrap equivalent) replaces the “Harbour Glazed Maple” offered in Bay Star Sport previously.
  • A 2000 watt inverter with four (4) 12 volt batteries is a new option.  This option includes receptacles and access ports for the C-PAP prep in the bedroom.

The following 2022 Kountry Star models are still in the line-up for the 2023 model year:  3412, 3426, 3709, 3717, 4011, and 4037.

The Kountry Star 4002 and 4045 floor plans are no longer being offered for the new model year.

Newmar Kountry Star 4068

  • The new Kountry Star 4068 is a new bath and a half model with a patio side dinette.
  • The front living area features a standard 87” jack-knife sofa on the off-door side which sits across from a sleeper booth dinette with “televator” on the door-side.
  • Rear of the off-door side sofa is a refrigerator with a large pantry on the forward side and a large shelf storage area on the rearward side.  These two cabinets have decorative “feet” that gives the appearance of a piece of furniture.
  • Across from the refrigerator sits the large and functional galley with a pull out cabinet for even more counter space.
  • Mid-ship is a dedicated work area on the off-door side across from which is the half-bath.  There is an option to replace this work desk with a beverage center with wine cooler and stemware rack.
  • The bedroom features a king bed with two shirt wardrobes, dresser and TV across from the bed.
  • The master bathroom at the far rear of this floor plan, provides a 35” radius shower, commode, and vanity centered along the rear wall.  On each side of the vanity are two storage cabinets, one of which is a wardrobe with bi-fold doors and the other could accommodate the optional two piece washer and dryer.

Newmar Kountry Star 4070

  • The Kountry Star 4070 is a new full wall slide bath and a half bunk model replacing the 4045 offered in 2022 (which did not offer a bath and a half).
  • The front living area features a standard 87” jack-knife sofa on the off-door side which sits across from a sleeper booth dinette with “televator” on the door-side.
  • Rear of the off-door side sofa is a refrigerator behind which is a pantry and a wardrobe. 
  • Across from the refrigerator sits the large and functional galley with a pull out cabinet for even more counter space.
  • A pair of 30” X 72” bunk beds are located mid-coach across from the half bath located on the door side.
  • The bedroom features a king bed with two shirt wardrobes, dresser and TV across from the bed.
  • The master bathroom at the far rear of this floor plan, provides a 35” radius shower, commode, and vanity centered along the rear wall.  On each side of the vanity are two storage cabinets, one of which is a wardrobe with bi-fold doors and the other could accommodate the optional two piece washer and dryer.

Cabinets And Furniture

  • For 2023, the Kountry Star driver’s seat will have a vibrator to accommodate the standard Mobile Eye lane tracking and departure warning system.
  • The new 4068 model will be equipped with a desk and one folding chair.

Chassis Features

  • The Freightliner chassis will offer the Mobile Eye lane tracking and departure warning system as a standard feature.
  • The Comfort Drive comfort control has moved to the “favorites” button on the steering wheel.  Pressing the “favorites” button will bring up the Comfort Drive menu which can then be manipulated with the “up” and “down” arrows.
  • The tire size of the 37’ chassis increase to 305/70R 22.5”.
  • The front axle rating on the 40’ chassis increases from 14,000 to 14,200 GAWR.
  • The Optiview dash display programming is new and features new graphics on the FCCC chassis.
  • A new “Intelligent” high / low beam system is standard on the FCCC chassis for 2023.  This feature can be disabled through the menu on the glass dash.

Electrical Features

  • The dash radio, cameras and monitors will power up from both the house and ignition systems.
  • A new 10.1” central monitor panel will control the interior lighting and HVAC controls.  This new panel will be located in an exposed location near the middle of each floor plan.  The exact location will vary by floor plan.  This monitor will no longer be in an overhead cabinet.

Exterior Features

  • In response to customer requests for brighter headlights, new Silverstar ultra headlight bulbs are featured for high and low beam lighting.
  • New exterior graphic designs and colors are available on the 2023 Kountry Star.

Interior Features

  • Two new decors “Ansel” and “Baja” are available for 2023.  “Roka” is a carryover fabric package from the 2022 model year.
  • The 2023 Kountry Star also features new artwork and a newly styled backsplash design.
  • “Natural” is a new dash color and replaces “Tuscany” used in 2022.

Option Changes

  • A new Wi-Fi Ranger “Everest” system (option J347) with “Aspen” Wi-Fi router is the option for internet access for 2023.  This replaces the “Teton” system offered in 2022.
  • “Newport Glazed Maple” hardwood has been replaced with “Toffee Glazed Maple” hardwood for 2023.
  • A new fireplace cabinet (option #J370) is available on the 3717 and 4037 floor plans for the new model year.
  • There is a new option for a beverage center with wine cooler and stemware rack on the new 4068 model.
  • Option for Wi-Fi Ranger “Teton/Poplar” combo discontinued due to low usage in 2022.
  • Option #N310 for adding carpet in the bedroom has been discontinued due to low usage.  This can be done as a special however.

2023 Newmar Ventana

Floor Plans

The following 2022 Ventana models are still in the line-up for the 2023 model year:  3407, 3412, 3709, 3717, 4037, 4310, 4326, 4334, and 4369. 

The rear master bathroom on the Ventana 4369 is new in that it has been reversed side to side, so as to create more space around the foot of the bed when transitioning from the bedroom into the rear bath.

The Ventana 3426, and 4002 floor plans are no longer available for the new model year.

There are two new floor plans offered for the 2023 model year:

Newmar 2023 Ventana 4068:

  • The new Ventana 4068 is a new bath and a half model with a patio side dinette.

Newmar 2023 Ventana 4328:

  • The Ventana 4328 is the same floor plan that has been offered in Dutch Star over the past several years, which has been a strong retail selling offering in Newmar’s best-selling brand.  It is a bath and a half, full wall slide with opposing front sofas and an angled galley.
  • The front living area provides an 87” side folding hide-a-bed sofa on the off-door side, with a 74” jackknife sofa on the door side.
  • The spacious angled kitchen and half bath are positioned on the door side, with the hide-a-leaf table with 4 chairs, refrigerator and huge pantry on the off-door side.
  • The master bedroom features a king bed, two shirt wardrobes with dresser and TV across from the foot of the bed.
  • The master bathroom is large, and offers a dual sink vanity, large wardrobe along the rear wall with room for an optional washer and dryer.  In addition, there is a 40” X 32” glass enclosed rectangular shower and commode.

Cabinets And Furniture

  • For 2023, the Ventana driver’s seat will have a vibrator to accommodate the standard Mobile Eye lane tracking and departure warning system.
  • The new 4068 model will be equipped with a desk and one folding chair.
  • This same 4068 model will feature “feet” on the pantry cabinets forward of and rearward of the refrigerator.
  • The appliance garage previously offered on this brand has been eliminated for the 2023 model year.
  • The medicine cabinets on the 4369 have been redesigned.

Chassis Features

  • The standard Freightliner and optional Spartan chassis will offer the Mobile Eye lane tracking and departure warning system as a standard feature.
  • The Comfort Drive comfort control has moved to the “favorites” button on the steering wheel on the Freightliner chassis.  Pressing the “favorites” button will bring up the Comfort Drive menu which can then be manipulated with the “up” and “down” arrows.
  • The Comfort Drive comfort control can now be adjusted by a toggle switch located behind the right side switch pod of the steering wheel on the Spartan chassis.  This allows the operator to control the efforts adjustment directly without searching through the menu on the glass dash.
  • The optional Spartan chassis features a new Valid digital dash.
  • A new nine function center switch pod has been added to the steering wheel on the Spartan chassis.
  • The tire size of the FCCC 34’ chassis increases to 305/70R 22.5.
  • The front axle rating on the FCCC 34’ chassis increases to 14,000 GAWR.
  • The front axle rating on the 37’ FCCC and Spartan chassis has been increased from 14,000 to 14,200 GAWR.
  • The Optiview dash display programming is new and features new graphics on the FCCC chassis.
  • A new “Intelligent” high / low beam system is standard on the FCCC and Spartan chassis for 2023.  On the FCCC chassis, this feature can only be disabled through the menu on the glass dash.

Electrical Features

  • The 2023 Ventana features a new app that connects to Bluetooth to allow the remote control of numerous features from a personal device.  The systems controlled include the following features:  Interior lights, HVAC, water pump and tank monitoring.
  • A new 10.1” central monitor panel will control the interior lighting and HVAC controls.  This new panel will be located in an exposed location near the middle of each floor plan.  The exact location will vary by floor plan.  This monitor will no longer be in an overhead cabinet.
  • The dash radio, cameras and monitors will power up from both the house and ignition systems.

Exterior Features

  • Electric gate valves are a new standard feature.
  • New plumbing fixtures in the kitchen and all bath areas.
  • A new sink is featured in the full bathroom.
  • A new glass under-mounted sink will be standard in half baths.
  • A new sink will be a highlight in the kitchen as well.
  • A 40” X 32” rectangular shower replaces the neo-angled shower previously offered in the 4569 floor plan.

Windows, Awnings, Vents and Doors

  • An egress window has been added to the off door side of the 4369 floor plan due to the secondary egress door in the rear bathroom switching sides.

Option Changes

  • On the 34’ models, the front axle on the optional Spartan chassis has been changes to 14,000 # GAWR.
  • On the 34’ models, the tire size on the optional Spartan chassis has been changed to 305.
  • A new “high gloss” cabinet finish is available on the optional cabinet finishes of the Ventana for 2023.
  • A new convertible dinette with chairs that face the window or convert to fore and aft seating (traditional) is now an available option.  This new optional dinette includes two fixed and two folding dinette chairs.
  • The exterior entertainment center on the new Ventana 4328 model will be located in the sidewall and includes a 32” TV.  Ventana 4328 coaches built with the CSA option will still have the optional exterior entertainment center located down in the exterior baggage compartment.
  • A new Wi-Fi Ranger “Everest” system (option J347) with “Aspen” WI-Fi router is the option for internet access for 2023.  This replaces the “Teton” system offered in 2022.
  • There is a new option for a beverage center with wine cooler and stemware rack on the new 4068 model.
  • The option for queen bed (K050) has been discontinued for 2023.  This feature, however, can be ordered as a special request.
