Floor Plans

For 2023, Canyon Star will offer only  garage models in three new and uniquely different floor plans.  There are no “conventional” or “traditional” floor plans offered in the Canyon Star RV line up for the 2023 model year.

Newmar Canyon Star 3737

• The Canyon Star RV 3737 resembles the 3927 floor plan offered in 2022, only with a full wall slide on the off door side and an 8’ garage.
• A booth dinette with a fixed TV above is located on the off-door side across from a 74” Comfort Lounge (jackknife folding) sofa.
• Mid-ship, the kitchen and pantry are positioned on the off-door side across from another pantry and fully enclosed bathroom offering a vanity, commode and 35” radius shower.
• The bedroom features a queen bed, shirt wardrobe and dresser drawers as well as a TV.
• At the far back, the 3737 has an 8’ garage and a rear ramp that does not have the “hump” featured on the rear ramp of the Canyon Star’s 10’ garage models.  This ramp is able to be set horizontally and will convert into a patio with the kit provided which includes railing and steps.

Newmar Canyon Star 3947

• The Canyon Star 3947 resembles the 3927 floor plan offered in 2022, only with a full wall slide.
• A booth dinette with a fixed TV above is located on the off-door side across from a 74” Comfort Lounge (jackknife folding) sofa.
• Mid-ship, the kitchen and pantry are positioned on the off-door side across from another pantry and fully enclosed bathroom offering a vanity, commode and 35” radius shower.
• The bedroom features a queen bed, shirt wardrobe and dresser drawers as well as a TV.
• At the far back, the 3947 has the familiar 10’ garage with the “hump” allowing for motorcycles to travel up and down the ramp and in/out of the garage. 
• There is a new option for a powered rear ramp door.

Newmar Canyon Star 3957

• The Canyon Star 3957 is a 39’ motor home with an 8’ garage and larger living quarters as compared to the 3947.
• The front of this new model offers a 74” Comfort Lounge (jackknife folding) sofa on the off door side, with a booth dinette and “Televator” in a slide out on the door side.
• A large and functional kitchen with pantry is located mid-coach on the off-door side across from which is a pantry located on the bath wall.
• The enclosed bathroom is located on the door side mid-coach, and provides a vanity, commode and 35” radius shower.
• The master bedroom provides a king bed, large shirt wardrobe with dresser drawers and TV.
• At the far back, the 3957 has an 8’ garage and a rear ramp that does not have the “hump” featured on the rear ramp of the Canyon Star’s 10’ garage models.  This ramp is able to be set horizontally and will convert into a patio with the kit provided which includes railing and steps.

Appliances And Accessories

• Truma Aqua Go continuous hot water heater is standard in Canyon Star for 2023.
• Apple Car Play will be standard.

Electrical Features

• The dash radio, cameras and monitors will power up from both the house and ignition systems.
• A new 10.1” central monitor panel will control the interior lighting and HVAC controls.  This new panel will be located in an exposed location near the middle of each floor plan.  The exact location will vary by floor plan.  This monitor will no longer be in an overhead cabinet.

Exterior Features

• In response to customer requests for brighter headlights, new Silverstar ultra headlight bulbs are featured for high and low beam lighting.
• New exterior graphic designs and colors are available on the 2023 Canyon Star.

Interior Features

• Two new decors “Bellona” and “Moab” are available for 2023.  Hyannis is a carryover fabric package from the 2022 model year.

Construction Features

• A new eight foot (8’) garage with rear ramp door that does not have the “hump” (featured on previous 10’ garage models), is available only on the new 3737 and 3957 floor plans.

Option Changes

• A new optional powered rear ramp door is available only on the 3947 with 10’ garage.
• A new Wi-Fi Ranger “Everest” system (option J347) with “Aspen” Wi-Fi router is the option for internet access for 2023.  This replaces the “Teton” system offered in 2022.
• For 2023, a new wood option “Amaretto Glazed Maple” wrap replaces the “Harbour Glazed Maple” wrap offered standard in Canyon Star previously. “Toffee Glazed Maple” hardwood replaces the optional “Newport Glazed Maple” hardwood previously offered in this brand.
• A 2000 watt inverter with six (6) 6 volt batteries is a new option (L260).  This option includes receptacles and access ports for the C-PAP prep in the bedroom.                                         .
• New furniture for the 2023 Canyon Star includes a new incliner sofa in 74” length.  This new incliner is available on all 3 Canyon Star floor plans for the 2023 model year.
• On the two 8’ garage models (3737 and 3957), the optional dual electric bunk option will be 42” wide because of the shorter length garage in these two models.  The width of the same option in the 3947 floor plan with 10’ garage will remain at 62” wide.
• The options for Whirlpool 11 cu. ft. refrigerators with (J215) and without (J205) icemaker will include a 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter with six (6) batteries and includes the receptacles and access ports for C-PAP prep in the bedroom.
• The following options have been eliminated from the Canyon Star RV brand for 2023:
  • Egress door with ladder (T510) as none of the floor plans will accommodate this feature.
  • TV in front overhead (J360) not available on the 3957 floor plan for CSA coaches due to the breaker box needing to be located in front overhead on CSA units.
  • Exterior entertainment center (J400) no longer available on Canyon Star for 2023 as none of the 3 floor plans offered can accommodate this feature.
  • The option for auxiliary heater in the bedroom (H340) not available as there is no place to locate the heater.
  • Option for Wi-Fi Ranger “Teton/Poplar” combo (J340) has been discontinued due to low usage in 2022.
  • The option for buffet dinette w/ free standing table (K802) has been discontinued.
  • Option #N310 for adding carpet in the bedroom has been discontinued due to low usage.  This can be done as a special however.
